Glenda Gibson Asks What Does A Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Do?

For Glenda Gibson, what does a licensed nursing home adminstrator do is a question that could take a month of sundays to fully answer. fAs she points, a career in administration is often considered to entail nothing more than a boring job in a humdrum office – rather than a lucrative and stimulating career for the dedicated and hard-working individual. Finely-honed skills can give rise to great advancement opportunities across a range of industries. Indeed, it is vital for any business that administrative duties are carried out with the utmost diligence to ensure the smooth running of the entire organisation. With an effective administrative team in place - and a strong leader to make sure that communications throughout the entire organisation are effectively conveyed – effective administration is beneficial for all employees.

Communication, organisation and an ability to see things within the bigger picture are also vital to career progression within administration. While an administrator has to take responsibility in his or her organisational role, it is also important to work successfully in a team to develop these individual skills. Through hard work and attention to detail, progression to administrative positions with greater responsibilities ought to be possible within any organisation.
